Measure how big around the tree is at 24" up from the ground. Then divide that number by 3.14. This will give you the Diameter of the tree.

This can be a bit tricky. You want to compare the height of the tree to other objects, such as a house. A 2 story house is roughly 25 ft. tall. Using that as a gauge, you can estimate how tall the tree is.

This is the easy part! Simply multiply the Diameter of the tree, by it's height. This will give you a good idea how much it will cost to remove the tree. Location is another factor that will be considered upon inspection.
