Seed costs have many variables that influence the cost of the project. In some applications, seed alone can be spread throughout a lawn for thickening and filling in spots. Other times, the area may need to be cleared and prepped with topsoil and covered with a barrier. Another variable is the amount of seed that's spread over an area. For the best results, we like to spread twice the amount normally recommended over an area for a fuller, thicker lawn. In most cases, some preparation will need to be done prior to spreading seed, as well as a top covering to finish.
