70% of the air you breathe comes from your crawlspace
Crawlspace encapsulation is crucial for a healthy living environment.
Drain Flooded Crawl
Before any work can be done, all standing water must be drained and cleaned up.
Clean up Debris
All the insulation and other debris in the crawl must be removed.
Remove Mold & Mildew
Getting rid of any mold and preventing mold from occurring is top priority.
Install DrainTile
In any instance of a flooded space, you will need a drain system installed to keep the water out.
Install or Replace Sump
The drainage flows into the sump-pump where it is disposed of away from the house. Sump-pumps have an option Battery Back-up available.
Install Drainage Matting
Drainage matting is use on every job to keep any surface moisture from accumulating.
Insulate the Walls
Insulating the walls with fire rated foam insulation is key to creating a controlled environment in that space.
Encapsulate the Space
Encapsulating the craw is done with 90mil antimicrobial radiant vapor barrier to keep out moisture, smells, and mold.
Add in a Dehumidifier
A dehumidifier is a great option for optimizing control over the environment of the space, while helping to keep mold and other unwanted spores from growing.
Ventilate the Space
Venting the space with fresh air is mandatory in most cities so we make ventilation a standard procedure.
